$50,000 Grant Awarded to PCPS to Support Students in Remote Learning!
PEF awarded Poquoson City Public Schools with a grant of $50,000 to purchase laptops and Chromebooks in April 2020. This grant enabled a smoother transition to "at home" learning for students during the COVID-19 Pandemic. PEF was instrumental in helping the school system to supply enough devices for all students to maintain connectivity, and their educational progress during this unprecedented time of change in the format of the classroom. As the pandemic rages on PEF hopes to continue to ensure that all Poquoson students are provided the tools that they need to continue learning in the virtual environment.
